Hi! I’m Thor, and this is my first guest blog post! I’m a 15 week old Yellow Labrador, and I’m finally vaccinated and can safely go out into the world now. This is my trip report from my first adventure into the world beyond the backyard!
Today, my people took me to Santa Cruz! We walked along the cliff and watched the surfers. I met a lot of new people and dogs and was all smiles.

After our nice trip outside, we went to a place called a brewery. I was told that I better get used to these kind of places. I got a dog treat from the butcher next door so that sounds fine to me!

The best part was when a new friend showed up. My people have a friend with a dog named Bodie, and he came to meet me.
After lunch, we went shopping. My person kept trying on puffy jackets, but she has a whole closet full of those at home so I don’t understand why she needed more.

We got back in the truck and I was so tired after my first adventure, but there was one more thing ahead! I got to visit Bodie at home and play! We played for a long time, even though I was really tired.

Bodie is a lot bigger than me but I’m growing fast! He did a good job helping me learn good doggy manners and was very patient with my razor sharp puppy teeth.

I stopped to smell some flowers.

And even though I was having a bunch of fun and really wanted to keep playing…

I could barely keep my eyes open so my people decided it was time to take me home.

I am a champion napper and zonked out on the ride home.

I had a great time on my first adventure outside of the house. I can’t wait until I get to go camping and hiking too!
