So far this year’s wildflower bloom has been somewhat disappointing, but considering how many photos I still have to process from previous years I suppose this isn’t a bad thing.
Since the trails haven’t been providing I have been revisiting some of my favorite wildflower photos from the past couple of years. I hope this provides a burst of spring color to you as well. This photo was taken at Russian Ridge Open Space Preserve in mid-April 2009. It is a Douglas Sky Lupine photo’d against a California Poppy.
