Sunol Regional Wilderness

sunol-10Sunol Regional Park is one of those great parks that make you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere while only being a short drive from the middle of Silicon Valley. We took a short hike through the park today and I’ve posted a few photos here: Sunol Regional Wilderness

  • Looks like you did the same loop I did the day prior…I call it the McCorkle Loop. Was that your route? I take the Camp Ohlone Rd trail out to the hookup with the Ohlone, then make a loop out of it across McCorkle and down. That’s usually enough for me!

I gotta check in here more frequently….no question.

  • beautiful - i can’t believe there is green grass there — since we’re all a desert and it’s the height of summer (??) anyway. i’ve never been, and thanks for showing me another place i’ve wanted to go.
